ID Card

When on MTC Campus, you will use your ID card to access residence halls, training buildings, and re-enter the campus. You will also use it to make purchases, as shown below.

Use your ID card to make purchases at the following locations:

Copy Center (S2-W204)

Creamery Express (T2-111)

Dry Cleaning (S2-W117)

Mail Room (S2-109)

MTC Store (S2-105)

Vending Machines

Laundry Detergent (Laundry Vending Machines)

Using your ID card in the barbershop and cafeteria is for statistical purposes only and does NOT reduce available balance for young missionaries.

Funds are added to ID cards each Wednesday after 6:00 pm in the following amounts:

Elders $8.00 / Sisters $10.00

You should use the ID card to pay for living expenses. ID card purchases should align with the guidelines found in Missionary Standards for Disciples of Jesus Christ, Section 4.81, regarding Mission Funds.

LOST ID

If your ID card is lost, please wait two days for the MTC ID card to be turned in. If your name appears on a monitor, it is likely that you can come and retrieve your ID card. During this time, tell the cashier in the cafeteria that you have lost your card and the clerk will allow you to enter.

If your MTC ID card doesn't turn up after two days, IDs can be replaced for $1.00 at General Services. The $1.00 charge can be paid with cash or the money on the new ID card.

BROKEN ID

If your ID card has stopped working on the doors or in the cafeteria, bring it to General Services to be re-magnetized. Please keep ID cards away from any magnets (including in the gym cubbies).
