When you drop off your clothes we send them over to our main production building, the BYU Laundry, and once they're cleaned and pressed, you will need to go pick them up at the BYU laundry building. All you need at pickup is their first and last name.
You should make sure to thoroughly check your pockets before dropping off clothing items! Also, we don't need a hanger; just give us the clothes themselves and we'll give them back to you on a new wire hanger.
We request 4 business days before departure dates for dry cleaning needs. Our typical turnaround time is actually only two business days but we prefer a little buffer for missionaries leaving the country. Three days is often very doable however just in case 4 business days will ensure you have the items back that you need.
We're afraid we do not add material to lengthen skirts or dresses.
We're afraid we do not do cosmetic tapering of pants or shirts. We only provide services to improve functionality.
Alterations often have a two week turn- around time so missionaries need to plan accordingly and may not receive the service they hoped for depending on their departure dates
Any alteration being done to a piece of clothing will be an in person visit. Missionaries can expect to stay for the appointment and be measured.
